These shows will have a looser format than typical Insurgent shows, multiple directors will simultaneously rehearse a wide variety of plays by various local writers. Expect large casts, new talent, and fresh voices.

We expect the show will be around an hour and a half long, with a 10 minute intermission.
A continuation of Insurgent Theatre’s rapidly budding tradition of providing a proving ground for raw talent. Buoyed by strong production values, a number of these original works will be envisioned by rookie directors and brought to life by first time actors. The raucous and dangerous core of Insurgent’s inner circle will throw down to round out this experimental and boundary breaking theatrical event.
One Page Plays? Look at it this way: Flip through the channels of detritus on the tube – alone, mind turning to mush or come experience a cascade of ideas, fully expressed and realized – not alone, synapses firing.
