Play in a Day is a full length play produced in 24 hours. Co-produced with Alamo Basement. WE DID IT! A full length musical in 24 hours. We've got a review (by Russ Bickerstaff). And photos (by Mark Frohna). We'll have video soon. The show kicked ass, the 10th street theatre was great, the cast and crew pulled an all nighter and brought a great show to life in 24 hours. We've got all kinds of plans to do this and other things like it in the future. This year, it's going to be a musical. We're performing at the brand new Tenth Street Theatre (In Tandem's new home). Praise for last year's Play in a Day: "With Play In A Day, Alamo Basement seems to have hit on a sense of vitality that’s so glaringly missing in contemporary theatre. So little of the play (which ran around two hours) felt dull or disinteresting. In spite of having come at the end of an exhaustive 24-hour incubation period, the show maintained an irreverent energy for its entire time onstage.
